Yep, pretty cool! It is too bad the room was so ringy. I liked all the quads at the end and she even got in a twirl. Very nicely done.

City Loses JW Convention-Parking dispute:Two versions-Guess who lied?
by AndersonsInfo incity loses conventionwednesday, october 01, 2008 by lee roopand kay campbelltimes staff writers [email protected]@htimes.comparking dispute spurs jehovah's witnesses to move .
jehovah's witnesses will move their three summer meetings from huntsville to birmingham next year, ending for now a 12-year string of meetings that brought nearly $9 million a year in business to local hotels and restaurants.
a dispute over parking has ended the annual meetings, at least for 2009, as the city's largest single convention booking, bringing 6,000 people to town each of the three weekends.

Unexpected JW reaction
by cameo-d ini talked to a jw i know and got an unexpected reaction.. i mentioned some of the "conspiracy theory" stuff i have heard...about one taken, one left behind ...and what i have heard about people will be picked up in the middle of the night and taken away to "places".
this jw took it right in stride and said "yes, that's the way it was done when the nazi's started.
many jws were killed then...blah blah".

I remember this stuff. I was willing to fight! I would hold off the militia by surrounding myself with machine guns blazing away at those coming after me.
Perhaps I just never really understood the program? :) -

From the point of view of ancient cosmology, this might reflect the fact that the sun isn't the only source of light during the day.
If this had read:
From the point of view of ancient cosmology, this might reflect the *idea* or *notion* that the sun isn't the only source of light during the day.
I would have known for a *fact* :) what you were getting at. It was that word fact that threw me. But, thanks for the clarification for us *stupid* ones ;) -

Senior Citizens......How does your congregation treat them?
by crazyblondeb innot as good as they use too... but then again they are following the lead of the wts.
why bother with fellowship when you can plug everyone into the telephone.. one one hand they are pushing fs, on the other they are making so many changes that several of the elderly are getting depressed, especially ever since the may 1, 2007 qfr.
with the afternoon bs soon yanked, many not allowed to drive at night, and elderships that don't care enough to orchestrate carpools....it is bad..

My mother has lived in a small town for about 25 years and her congregation consisted of mostly elderly persons while it existed. They actually did a pretty good job of looking after each other overall. Even the "younger" members. They had to depend on each other though and that is not the typical kh.
I'm not sure any of the dubs check up on my mom anymore and she isn't able to attend many meetings. She, and others use to regularly go out of their way to see that anyone got to meetings or any other appointments etc. But I don't see that spirit in too many of those that are anymore. -

First one I had my hands on was the TI99/4A. Then shortly to a Tandy Color Computer II. Much the same and I learned a bit about programming and the basics were all there. Remember trying to program any graphics? Wow.
I'm currently only on my 10th machine but no Macs as of yet. Maybe soon though. -

From the point of view of ancient cosmology, this might reflect the fact that the sun isn't the only source of light during the day. The blue sky seems to shine with its own light, which brightens when the sun makes its apperance in the morning and it cooperatively darkens when the sun makes its departure in the evening. Even without the sun in the sky, a similar cycle of day and night is presumed to happen in the days preceding the creation of the sun.
I realize I'm slow but what other light source is there besides the sun. The blue sky is only seen as blue when the sun is up - or close to the horizon. The moon only shines because of the sun. The stars are not much in the way of light givers - the moonless night sky is often referred to as being pitch black and won't make the sky very blue even with a full "milky way". And with no sun it would be this way always.
In all sincerity, I may have missed the meaning here. Wouldn't be the first time. lol -
